From the Founder
Built on experience.
Driven by responsibility.
I founded Havenor with a straightforward belief: working on someone's home requires more than construction knowledge. It requires judgment, accountability, and respect for the property.Hands-on experience, personal responsibility, and respect for the property.
A hands-on foundation
The property comes before the project.
My background is in hands-on residential construction. Over the years, I have worked on everything from detailed repairs, kitchens, and bathrooms to major renovations, exterior improvements, specialty spaces, and custom homes throughout King and Snohomish counties.
That experience taught me that the most important part of a project often happens before construction begins—understanding the house, identifying hidden conditions, defining the right scope, and helping the homeowner make informed decisions before money is spent.
I remain personally involved in the work we accept. I evaluate the property, help develop the scope, coordinate the people involved, and remain accountable for the final result.
A more thoughtful approach
Bring in the right people—not simply more people.
Havenor is supported by a carefully selected network of trusted trades and professionals. Each is chosen for workmanship, reliability, communication, and the ability to meet our standards. Their expertise is involved when the property requires it.
- Understand the property.
- Plan the work carefully.
- Build it correctly.
- Document what was done.
- Stand behind the result.
Looking beyond the immediate project
A home needs memory as much as it needs maintenance.
Construction showed me a larger problem in homeownership. Most homes do not have a reliable record of their condition, systems, repairs, materials, warranties, or previous decisions. Important information is often scattered across invoices, photographs, emails, contractors, and the homeowner's memory.
That is why Havenor is developing Home Record by Havenor—a long-term, organized history of the home designed to support better maintenance, future renovations, ownership decisions, and a future sale or transfer of the property.

I do not believe in recommending unnecessary work or creating urgency where none exists.
My responsibility is to explain what I see, distinguish immediate concerns from future priorities, and provide a clear path forward.
The objective is not only to complete good construction. It is to help homeowners understand their property, protect what they own, and make better decisions about their home for years to come.
